Genoss Co., Ltd is a manufacturer that specializes in orthopedic bone graft substitutes and cardiovascular products, and it recently turned to anytron to help label its products. Genoss needed a model-specific package for more than 100 medical device-related products, which required various labels when selling multiple products.

Print shops’ MOQ and slow delivery times required Genoss to order more prints than necessary and delayed exports. Also, due to frequent changes in the contents of overseas export products, many unused labels were accumulated and discarded, resulting in higher costs and wasted resources.

Genoss’ label production manager searched for equipment that would enable the company to print directly, leading to the eventual purchase of anytron, a digital label system optimized for variety and small batches. “It was a challenge for us to purchase a printing and cutting machine and operate it at the company, but now we can immediately print the quantity that we want with any-002 and cut it with any-CUTIII for quick production and easy management,” the company states. “Also, we used to pay KRW 10 million per month and dispose of more than 100 million labels a year when outsourcing to printing shops. We now save KRW 80 million to KRW 100 million per year by producing only the labels needed.”

Genoss currently produces all product labels with any-002 and any-CUT III. Previously, the unused labels were piled up. Now, Genoss produces the precise number of labels needed on their own timeline to inventory efficiently.
